Third Molar Surgery Course
A comprehensive course in third molar surgery designed for dentists who want to master the surgical management of impacted wisdom teeth.
The program takes place in Bauru, São Paulo (Brazil) and combines solid theoretical foundations with intensive hands-on surgical training in a university clinical environment.
Theoretical Objectives
A complete understanding of diagnosis, planning, and surgical decision-making in third molar surgery.
Anatomy, Imaging & Diagnosis
Deep understanding of anatomy, radiological interpretation, eruption patterns, and associated pathologies of impacted third molars.
Surgical Planning & Classification
Indications, contraindications, informed consent, and classification systems (Winter, Pell & Gregory) for clinical decision-making.
Surgical Techniques & Postoperative Care
Ostectomy, odontosection, soft tissue management, venipuncture, APRF socket preservation, complications, and post-op instructions.
Practical Objectives
Each participant will develop clinical competence by performing a minimum of four surgical procedures, gaining real-world experience in wisdom tooth removal under supervision.
What the Course Includes
The program includes full logistical and academic support to ensure an optimal training experience:
- Airport transfer from São Paulo to Bauru
- Daily transport between hotel and university
- Return transfer to São Paulo
- Hotel accommodation with breakfast included
Not included: travel from country of origin to São Paulo and return flight.
